What is Birthstones Why we Need in Life .

Birthstone means the Gems that you can wear all the time. It is your personal gemstone and can be worn without any hitch. What is that attracts and make you connected to your own birthstone? When you see it – there is some sparkle in eyes, when you search it among other gemstones. It is well connected to your own energies.

Your birthstones are well connected to you because they are well aligned to your energies. They are represented by your birth month/date or your astrological sign. They enhance your energy level and make you align to the environment by inducing the perfect wavelength to you. This makes you well connected to the higher cosmic level of the world or you can say macrocosm [as then you are microcosm]. This makes you feel the way as you are. As these birthstones are connected with your own astrological sign so they work on healing the mind, body and soul. On the connection with mind it brings clarity and helps to define your life purpose. When it relates to body- heal and provide energy to boost you up. Where it is related to soul- it helps your soul to go deeper to know yourself.

When you are well connected to it then you feel yourself important. You are more precious – not to others but to your own self. When you feel yourself important then a new confidence is felt within that makes you successful.
If you cannot afford costly gemstones then you can get their substitutes that are cheaper than the primary gemstones and also effective. See the list below and their effectiveness too that is assessed by my own personal experience.
Ruby can be substituted by Red Spinel

Pearl can be substituted by Moonstone that is very effective.

Red Coral is already a very cheap stone but if you wish to use the less stronger than coral then you can use Carnelian [raat ratua] instead of Red Coral

Emerald can be substituted by Peridot

Yellow Sapphire can be substituted by Yellow Citrine or Sunehla which is found far more effective in many cases.

Diamond is substituted by Zircon.

How can you tell the size of a ring at home?

Step by step measuring ring size at home above video

How do I measure for ring size?

  1. Take a length of floss or string and wrap it around the base of your finger.
  2. Mark where the floss or string first overlaps with a pen.
  3. Stretch the length of string out along a ruler or measuring tape, and take down the length in millimeters.
  4. Use the ring size chart below to compare your measurement to the standard ring sizes, which go up by 0.4 millimeters every half-size. For instance, a size 3 ring is 14 mm, a size 3.5 ring is 14.4 mm, and a size 4 is 14.8mm. The most common ring sizes for women are 6 (16.5 mm), 6.5 (16.9mm), and 7 (17.3 mm), while the most common men’s sizes are 10 (19.8mm), 10.5 (20.2 mm), and 11 (20.6 mm).

Pro Tip: String and floss can stretch, so don’t pull them too taut. If you do, your measured ring finger size may be larger than your finger and any rings you purchase may be too big.

Why Choose an Emerald Engagement Ring?

Having an Emerald centre stone as your engagement ring is interesting, unique, creative, and breathtaking.  Emeralds are not “too soft” as they are quite scratch resistant. Being a 7.5-8 on the mohs hardness scale with a diamond being a 9. This means they are durable for everyday wear; they are also highly versatile stones that work with a wide variety of settings and designs. This allows the brilliant green hue of an emerald to be used in both traditional and more modern engagement rings. Generally, they are also less expensive than diamonds, therefore, they are more affordable choice when looking for your perfect piece. It will also make your engagement ring unique because emeralds are less commonly found in engagement ring.

From Kate Middleton’s swoon-inducing giant sapphire to Blake Lively’s large oval cut pink-hued stone, gemstones in every color of the rainbow are quickly becoming a girl’s best friend. The classic white diamond, while beautiful, isn’t as uncommon as you may have previously thought. Diamonds aren’t actually all that rare and haven’t been since the 1870s when huge South African diamond mines were discovered, notes crystal intuitive Mr johari

MEET THE EXPERT

Mr Johari is the founder and owner Grey Gems and jewellers, which provides an encyclopedia of information about crystal healing, science, and sourcing.

Many of the colored gemstones, including colored diamonds, are much rarer than white diamonds. According to Johari, their meanings date back thousands of years. “They believed that the ring finger of the left hand had a special vein, which the Romans later dubbed the vein of love, running directly to the heart.” Thus, when you select a gemstone for your engagement or wedding ring, you’re asking for certain energies to enter your life, and most importantly, your marriage. So while you may have just loved the color blue at the time, that rock actually has a much deeper meaning.

Gemstones Meaning

gemstone (also called a gemfine gemjewelprecious stone, or semi-precious stone) is a piece of mineral crystal which, in cut and polished form, is used to make jewelry or other adornments. However, certain rocks (such as lapis lazuli and opal) and occasionally organic materials that are not minerals (such as amber, jet, and pearl) are also used for jewellery and are therefore often considered to be gemstones as well. Most gemstones are hard, but some soft minerals are used in jewellery because of their lustre or other physical properties that have aesthetic value. Rarity is another characteristic that lends value to a gemstone.

Apart from jewelry, from earliest antiquity engraved gems and hardstone carvings, such as cups, were major luxury art forms. A gem maker is called a lapidary or gem cutter; a diamond cutter is called a diamantaire.
